AnchorSOL® Wall Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian-incorporated retaining wall contractor with HQ at C27-1 Plaza Jelutong, Persiaran Gerbang Utama, Bukit Jelutong, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor. We are the data controller for anchorsolwall.com.

2. Data we collect

Automatically (via cookies and analytics)

• Google Analytics 4 data: anonymised IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring URL. Used to understand site usage and improve content.
• Cloudflare / GitHub Pages server logs: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, user agent. Standard server logs retained for typical web-hosting durations.

From you directly (when you contact us)

• WhatsApp messages you send to +60 12-236 2159 (via wa.me links on the site).
• Email messages you send to lai@anchorsolwall.com or anchorsolwall@gmail.com.
• Project information you choose to share when enquiring (site location, wall height, project type, contact name, contact details).

We do not use contact forms with sensitive-data collection. We do not collect credit card data or financial account information on the website.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your project enquiries with cost bands, programme estimates, and engineering advice.
• To send tailored catalogues, specifications, or method statements you request.
• To maintain a record of project communications for ongoing engagements.
• To improve the website's usability and content depth through aggregated analytics.

We do not sell your data, share it with marketing partners, or use it for targeted advertising on third-party sites.

4. Cookies

anchorsolwall.com uses cookies only for Google Analytics 4 traffic measurement. We use the anonymize_ip setting so individual IP addresses are not stored in identifiable form.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking the relevant cookie / script via your browser settings.

5. Your rights under PDPA

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), you have the right to:

6. Data retention

Project enquiry communications are retained for the duration of the project plus 7 years for warranty and legal-compliance purposes, then securely deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics 4 defaults (typically 14 months for event data).

• GitHub Pages (web hosting): standard server logs.
• Google Analytics 4: aggregated traffic measurement.
• WhatsApp Business (Meta): when you message us via wa.me links. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that platform.
• Gmail (Google): when you email anchorsolwall@gmail.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as the website evolves or as Malaysian data protection law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted with a banner on the homepage.
